Biography

Wadson (b. 1993, Santos, Brazil) is a visual artist who lives and works between Brazil and Europe.

From an early age, he developed a deep and continuous relationship with drawing, a practice that profoundly shaped his sensibility and his way of observing the world. During childhood, drawing was a daily and instinctive activity, functioning as a primary means of expression, perception, and the construction of identity.

Throughout his artistic trajectory, drawing has remained the structural foundation of his practice, later expanding into painting. His visual research investigates the intersections between nature, spirituality, and human experience, constructing images that operate more as symbolic presences than as narrative representations.

His work unfolds through intuitive and contemplative processes in which time, silence, and memory play a central role. The paintings propose states of presence and introspection, inviting the viewer into a sensitive and reflective engagement with the image, distancing themselves from immediate or illustrative readings.
